Hybrid ISE Storage Blade
Hybrid ISE delivers 14.4 TB of dynamic hybrid storage that automatically sense I/O storms real-time and raise the performance of the storage to the applications without sacrificing total capacity. Hybrid ISE is the first hybrid media approach that actually combines hard drives and SSDs in an intelligent, dynamic storage pool that serves all volumes, improving overall performance and lowering cost.
Hybrid ISE's Continuous Adaptive Data Placement (CADP) patented extensions to the underlying ISE architecture provide the real-time intelligence necessary to deliver adaptive performance from the sealed Hybrid ISE Storage Blade. CADP continuously evaluates the performance cost and the performance benefit of placing data on SSD, and only performs such a replacement when a pattern of evidence shows that it would be profitable to do so.
